Testimonials - Equestrian Balancing Therapy
For a long time I felt that something was holding my riding back, although my feel and thought was improving I just couldn’t get my body to do what I asked!
I have a history of back and hip problems following falls as a child and some as an adult coupled with the stress and tension of everyday life. When riding, I found that my hips were very twisted restricting the bend on the right rein and not allowing straightness on the left. Also my lower back was very hollow and I struggled to loosen it, not allowing me to follow the movement or absorb concussion. During one lesson, Julie mentioned that she had invented a new type of treatment that she thought would help me, she did a short treatment on me whilst in the saddle. The first thing I felt was relaxation, both me and the horse seemed to become calm, breathing much deeper and steadier. After the treatment I felt soft, relaxed and longer, much longer, in fact, I put my stirrups down 2 holes, my back was much less hollow and I found I was able to move my hips on a circle something that previously had been a real sticking point.
Since then EBT forms an integral part of my riding, I find it so helpful for everything from releasing any stresses of everyday life to stiffness, tightness or pain in muscles and bones. It doesn’t just work for humans either, I have seen and ridden first hand, horses that have been treated and the results are obvious, from softer outlines, increased range of movement and engagement to actually making a lame horse sound. You must feel this for yourself.
